Today is going to be a work day the whole day.  It was quite windy this morning when we got up.  Reminded us of being at home!   Our day started out with the plans to continue building up the concrete pillars.  This did not require all of us so Jimmye and Luetta started working down at the new kitchen/laundry area.  A portion of sidewalk in front of the building needed to be built.  But, the only way to get concrete from up at the pillar work site down the hill to the dorm site was to partially fill wheelbarrows with concrete and take them down one at a time.  It took multiple trips down the hill to get the project done and over 3 hours to complete.  Meanwhile at the top of the hill we did get the third section of one pillar done and the second section of the other pillar done.  It seemed to be much hotter today and the sun was scorching.  This was our last day of work and we really would have liked to have gotten at least one completely done but we know that it will soon be finished by the local team.

Carlos, our local project foreman decided we were finished worked about 3 p.m.  This gave us plenty of time to clean up, rest, and think about doing some packing.   Supper is always planned for 6 p.m. Tonight we were all at the dining hall waiting and noticed several of our Costa Rican team members showing up.  There were several women in the kitchen.  Then they brought in an additional table and some chairs.  It is our last day of work and the local church is here to celebrate us being here to help.  We had a great time eating together, fellowshipping together, giving and receiving gifts, hugging and loving each other.  These are our Costa Rican brothers and sisters.  We will truly miss them when we go home on Sunday.
