Our wake-up call for today was 3:30 a.m.! Our taxi picked us up at the hotel at 4:30 a.m. to take us to the Delhi airport to begin our journey home. The Delhi airport is very big, nice and modern. It didn’t take much time at all to go through all the necessary procedures to get to our gate. Boarding started about 6:15. It was a very large British Airways plane we were taking for the first leg of our trip home. The first flight is about 8 hours, then we will change planes in London to an American Airways plane for a 10 hour flight to Dallas. Finally home at 11:30 pm.
Although we left the Delhi airport on Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. and arrived in Amarillo on Wednesday night we will be traveling more than 35 hours total, traveling both back in time and forward in time! Figure that out!
And, so ends this saga of the McPherson Adventures.
